Bloomington Post 550 Gambling Manager hands a $10,000 check to the Bloomington Parks & Recreation Department to pay for fireworks during Summer Fete in Bloomington. The best thing about fireworks is everyone gets to enjoy the display.
Bloomington Post 550 Gambling Manager Tim Engstrom presents a $5,500 check to Dick Middleton of Chanhassen Post 580 in June. The check is made out to Veterans 4 Veterans Trust Fund with “Carillon Fund” in the memo. Middleton is seeking to raise $90,000 to bring music, chimes, bells and other sounds back to the carillon at Fort Snelling National Cemetery. With Post 550’s donation on June 19, the total was at $43,765.
